Off-Campus Housing

Hotels & Inns: For attendees who do not wish to stay on campus, there are three hotels and inns within walking distance of campus ranging in size from 80 to 300 rooms. Through Yale Conference Services, participants can obtain a discounted Yale rate. Near campus, we have The Study, Courtyard Marriott, and The Omni, all well within walking distance. For slightly cheaper rates, there are La Quintaand Premiere Hotel and Suites at Long Wharf. Shuttle service is available to the Yale Campus from both locations.

Parking

Upon arrival, you can go to the housing office in Swing Space (metered street parking is available in the meantime at $1.25 per hour) and register for parking. You will be asked to provide credit card information to be entered on a secure Web site in exchange for a parking code that will give you access to Pierson-Sage Garage (280 Whitney Ave.). The fee is $5 per day.

The Yale Shuttle Blue Line stops every 15 minutes at Pierson-Sage Garage and can carry you directly to the corner of College and Grove Streets, from where it’s a two-block walk up Grove (turns into Tower Parkway) back to Swing Space.
